Successful candidates will have a core skill set of Java and HTML. Other required skills include database experience with relational tools like SQL Server or Oracle. Candidates will also have strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills, as well be able to work independently, or in a group environment.
The environment is fast-paced, interactive and demands a degree of flexibility and the ability to manage different workloads.
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust, well-documented Java code as per specifications provided by Senior Development team.
- Conform code to Standards.
- Work co-operatively with all development team members to problem solve development and/or design issues.
- Attend regular development team meetings.
Required Skills:
- 4 - 5 years experience with Java and HTML.
- 4 - 5 years experience with SQL databases.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the financial services industry.
- Small company experience.
- Strong group and interpersonal communication skills.
Other Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- .NET development experience.
- DB2 database experience.
- Experience with source control management systems
