Our Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Telco experience to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Travel within the GTA is a requirement. The consultant will manage projects, deliver project artifacts, interface with clients, and deliver high quality Business Intelligence solutions.
Requirements and responsibilities include:
- Facilitates discussions with Project Sponsor, Stakeholders and Key Users to gather business, functional and high-level technical requirements.
- Conducts interviews and work sessions with key users and translates results into the appropriate document
- Analyses and documents business processes and formulates the Business Problem definition.
- May document proposed business processes.
- Identifies current systems and tools leveraged by business users.
- Identifies system use cases and actors.
- Performs Risk Analysis and assists in mitigation planning.
- Assesses impact on operations, existing processes and systems
- Prepares the Business Requirements Document (BRD).
- Participates in the Presentation of Concept to gain acceptance by user population and obtain sign-off from Sponsor and Stakeholders.
- Performs system and process analysis to produce the System Requirements Specification.
- Prepares the System Requirements Specification (SRS) document.
- Provides input in the preparation of Process Requirements Specification.
- Determines test cases and prepares preliminary Test Plan.
- Leads the functional design of the application
- Leads the design and documentation of use case realizations
- Leads the design and documentation of the application storyboard
- Facilitates presentations of proposed design to stakeholders and key users
- Documents business rules and other business processes required within the system.
- Prepares the Process Design Specifications
- Provides support to the Technical team in the preparation of the System Design Specification
- Reviews preliminary Test Plan and makes revisions accordingly.
- Supports the Application Team by being the functional 'go-to' person for resolving business related issues / decisions. Works closely with business stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Leads the preparation, test execution and verification of Business Solution Testing to ensure the developed system meets the requirements of the business.
- Leads the preparation, test execution and verification of User Acceptance Testing.
- Leads training effort and user manual documentation.
